Native Speaker bereichert den Englischunterricht

In diesem Schuljahr haben wir einen ganz besonderen Gast an unserer Schule: Rebecca Galbraith ist unsere Fremdsprachenassistentin aus Großbritannien. Sie wird vor allem die Europaklassen der gymnasialen Oberstufe und der Höheren Handelsschule beim Englischlernen unterstützen. Die Fachschaft Englisch wünscht Rebecca eine spannende Zeit hier am FLB und freut sich sehr auf die gemeinsame Arbeit.
Zu ihrer ersten Begegnung mit der Klasse HH1508 schreibt Laurin Schofeld:
In our school we have a foreign language assistant and her name is Rebecca, or Becky, for short.
She is 20 years old and her stay is part of her university degree.
Becky wants to become a teacher and therefore studies for 4 years of which she’s in her 3rd now.
We found out that she comes from Northern Ireland, where to all of our surprise, the weather is worse than in Germany.
She hasn’t had any problems yet in Germany, although everything starts early in the morning here in comparison with Ireland/UK.
Becky hasn’t tried any German food yet, but she told us that she likes pizza and Chinese food.
